Questions and answers

Is this play kitchen worth it?
For the price, it offers more than most wooden sets, including a water dispenser and washing machine. Expect basic sound and light features rather than premium detailing.
What batteries does it need?
It takes AAA batteries, which are not included. You will need them for the sound and light functions.
How old should a child be for this?
It suits roughly ages 3 to 6. The water dispenser and small parts mean an adult should supervise younger children.
Does the water dispenser actually work?
Yes, it dispenses water for pretend play, but it is a toy pump, not a plumbed fixture. Expect some splashing and empty it after use.
How long does assembly take?
Plan on roughly an hour with two people. The wooden panels and fittings go together with the included hardware.
When is it cheapest?
Toy kitchens usually drop around Black Friday and in the weeks before Christmas. Watch the price history for a dip below the recent range.
