Our take on the Pixie Decorative Glass Vases

The Pixie Decorative Glass Vases are a set of three hand-blown white glass vases with textured surfaces and narrow 0.75-inch openings, sized 18, 19.5 and 21.75 inches tall. They are display pieces only: the glass does not hold water, so they suit dried stems, sola flowers or a bare sculptural look. The tall, slim silhouettes work on a mantel, console or floor corner where a low bowl would disappear.

Best forShoppers styling a mantel, console or entry tableBuyers who want dried or artificial stems without waterAnyone wanting a matching three-piece set in one purchaseRenters who want a tall, lightweight accent that is easy to move
Pros
  • Three graduated heights give an instant grouped display
  • Hand-blown glass with a textured finish, so each piece varies slightly
  • Tall 18 to 21.75 inch profiles fill vertical space
  • White color blends with most decor palettes
  • Narrow neck holds a few stems upright without a frog
Cons
  • Does not hold water, so fresh flowers are out
  • 0.75-inch opening limits stem bunching and cleaning access
  • Glass this tall and slim can tip if bumped, especially the small size
  • Hand-blown glass means small bubbles or shape differences are normal
  • Decorative use only, not a functional water vessel

Pros
  • Attractive textured finish that reads more expensive than it is
  • Graduated heights look good grouped together
  • Lightweight and easy to place
Cons
  • Cannot be used with fresh flowers
  • Narrow opening makes arranging and cleaning awkward
  • Tall pieces can feel unstable on a narrow shelf

Questions and answers

Can I put real flowers in these vases?
No. The vases do not hold water, so use dried stems, artificial flowers or nothing at all. Water will leak or damage the finish.
What size stems fit the opening?
The opening is 0.75 inches across, so thin dried stems, single branches or wire-stemmed artificial flowers fit best. Thick bouquets will not go in.
How tall are the three vases?
The small is 18 inches, the medium 19.5 inches and the large 21.75 inches. Widths run 5, 5.5 and 4 inches respectively, so the large is the tallest but the narrowest.
Are the vases identical?
No. They are hand-blown, so texture, pattern and exact shape vary from piece to piece. Small bubbles and slight differences are expected, not defects.
How should I clean them?
Wipe the outside with a soft damp cloth and let them dry fully. Avoid submerging them or filling them with water, and use a soft brush if dust collects inside the narrow neck.
Is the set worth it compared with buying single vases?
A matched set saves you the work of coordinating heights and finishes, which is the main reason to buy it. If you only need one accent piece, a single taller vase usually costs less.
