Our take on the Plutus Frost Mink Brown Faux Fur Luxury Throw

The Plutus Frost throw is a large faux fur blanket in mink brown, sized 60 by 96 inches, so it covers a bed or a whole sofa rather than one lap. It is reversible, with a plush faux fur face and a smoother backing you can flip over. The best new price is $433.99 at Wayfair as of November 5, 2026, and three stores carry it new. That is a premium price for a faux fur throw, so it competes on size and look more than on value.

Questions and answers

Is the Plutus Frost throw big enough for a king bed?
Yes. At 60 by 96 inches it spans a king or queen bed with room to drape over the sides. It is also long enough to cover the back of a standard sofa.
Is it real fur?
No. It is faux fur with a reversible backing. The mink brown color and pile are made to imitate fur, not to be one.
How should I clean a faux fur throw this size?
Check the care label first. Most faux fur throws are best washed cold on a gentle cycle and air dried, and a 60 by 96 inch throw may need a commercial machine.
Is $433.99 a good price for this throw?
It is the best new price across the three stores that carry it as of November 5, 2026. Faux fur throws of this size usually cost less, so you are paying for the large format and the look.
Does it come in other colors or sizes?
The Frost line is offered in several colors and in more than one size. This listing is the mink brown in 60 by 96 inches.
Where is the Plutus Frost Mink Brown Faux Fur Luxury Throw cheapest?
