Is this the right filter for my RZR Pro R?

It fits 2022-2025 RZR Pro R models. Check your model year and engine against the listing before ordering, since other Polaris engines use different filters.

Does it fit the Ranger XD 1500?

Yes. Polaris lists it for the 2024-2025 Ranger XD 1500 and Ranger Crew XD 1500.

Is the genuine filter worth it over an aftermarket one?

For a high-output engine under warranty, the OEM filter removes any doubt about bypass pressure and fit. Aftermarket filters can work, but you are trusting a cross-reference.

What comes in the box?

One oil filter. Oil, drain plug washers and tools are sold separately.

How often should I change it?

Follow the interval in your owner's manual, and shorten it for dusty trail riding or heavy towing. The filter itself does not set the schedule.

Prices vary by dealer and shipping. Compare the delivered price across sellers, and buy several at once to spread shipping cost.

Our take on the Polaris XD 1500/RZR Pro R Oil Filter - 2521728

This is the genuine Polaris oil filter, part number 2521728, made for the 2022-2025 RZR Pro R and the 2024-2025 Ranger XD 1500 and Ranger Crew XD 1500. It is a maintenance part, not an upgrade: it protects the 2.0L ProStar and ProStar 1000 engines those machines use. The filter is sold by powersports dealers and online parts sellers, and prices move with shipping and dealer markup, so compare the delivered total rather than the sticker.
