Our take on the Portable Clip On Mini Fan

A small rechargeable fan that clips onto a stroller, desk edge, or bed frame and folds for storage. It runs on a 3.7V battery charged over USB and draws 2.5W. The listed battery life is only 30 to 60 minutes per charge, which is short for a personal fan. No price was given, so check the current price against similar clip fans before buying.

Questions and answers

How long does the battery last?
The listed battery life is 30 to 60 minutes per charge. Expect the low end on the highest speed and the high end on low speed.
How do you charge it?
It charges over USB from a 3.7V rechargeable battery that is included. A phone charger or power bank works.
Will the clip fit a stroller bar?
It is a clip-on fan, but the jaw opening is not listed. Thin stroller bars and desk edges are the safest fit; thick frames may not hold.
Does it fold for travel?
Yes, it is foldable. That makes it easier to pack in a bag or glovebox.
Is it strong enough to cool a room?
No. At 2.5W it is a personal fan for close-range airflow, not room cooling.
When is it cheapest?
Small clip fans often drop in price during summer sales and back-to-school promotions. Compare the current price against its recent range before buying.
