Our take on the Prada PR D11S Sunglasses

The Prada PR D11S is an oversized square-frame sunglass in molded plastic, with a 54 mm lens width that gives broad coverage across the face. Its bold, chunky silhouette is the draw: it reads as fashion-forward rather than sporty, and the wide frame flatters rounder and oval faces. The best new price is $349 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, with only two stores listing it new.

Best forShoppers who want a statement designer frameRound or oval faces that suit wide square shapesEveryday sun coverage with a fashion lookBuyers comparing Prada against other luxury sunglasses
Pros
  • Oversized square frame gives strong sun coverage
  • 54 mm lens width suits medium to larger faces
  • Molded plastic keeps the frame light for its size
  • Prada branding is a recognized luxury label
Cons
  • Only two stores list it new, so price competition is thin
  • Plastic frames scratch and show wear over time
  • Oversized shape can overwhelm narrow or small faces
  • Luxury pricing buys design, not better lens technology

Questions and answers

Is the PR D11S worth $349?
At $349 it sits in the usual range for designer plastic sunglasses. You are paying for the Prada name and the oversized shape, not premium lens coatings. If you want the look, it is a fair price; if you want value, mainstream brands cost far less.
How does the PR D11S fit?
The 54 mm lens width and oversized square frame suit medium to larger faces. People with narrow faces often find this shape too wide and prone to sliding. Try them on if you can, since oversized frames are the hardest to size blind.
Are these sunglasses good for round faces?
Yes. Wide square and rectangular frames add angles that balance rounder faces. Very small or heart-shaped faces may find the width excessive.
What comes in the box?
Prada sunglasses typically ship with a hard case, a cleaning cloth and the brand's paperwork. Confirm the listing includes the case, since some resale listings sell the frame alone.
When is the best time to buy?
Designer sunglasses usually drop during end-of-season sales and around major shopping events. With only two stores listing this model new, watch both rather than waiting for a broad markdown.
Where is the Prada PR D11S Sunglasses cheapest?
At eBay, for $349.00, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Prada PR D11S Sunglasses?
11 stores we checked sell it, including eBay, Macy's, Amevista, Belk, Designer Frames Outlet.
