Is this mat big enough for a full driver swing?

Yes. At 5' x 5' it gives room to stand and swing a driver, and the eight tee holes let you set a tee at a comfortable height. The octagon shape means the corners are cut, so keep your stance inside the mat.

How long will the turf last?

The mat is rated for about 75,000 swings. That is years of regular practice for most home golfers, though heavy driver use wears the tee area fastest.

What tees come in the box?

Three rubber tees of 1.5, 2.25 and 3.5 inches. The short tee suits irons and hybrids, the tall one suits a driver.

Can I use it on a concrete garage floor?

Yes. The EVA foam base cushions the mat on hard floors and helps it lie flat. It is not designed to be left outside in rain.

Our take on the Premium Golf Hitting Training Mats

A 5' x 5' octagonal practice mat with 15 mm PRO Turf over an EVA foam base, rated for about 75,000 swings. Eight integrated tee holes and three rubber tees (1.5, 2.25 and 3.5 in) let you hit irons and drivers from one mat. At $121.99 at Shop Simon as of November 8, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against. It suits a garage or backyard setup where you want a stable stance and a tee option without a separate tee holder.
