Is the Prepac Elite Tall Storage Cabinet worth it?

At $164.99 at WoodArtSupply as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to add a tall closed cabinet. Expect a flat-pack build rather than furniture-grade construction.

How much weight can each shelf hold?

Listings give 15 to 20 lbs per shelf, so plan on linens, pantry goods, tools and supplies rather than heavy equipment. The fixed shelf is the sturdiest.

How long does assembly take?

It ships ready-to-assemble with an instruction booklet. Most people should set aside an hour or two and have a second person help hold panels during the build.

Will it fit in a small bathroom or laundry room?

At 32 inches wide, 64 high and 14 deep, it needs about three feet of wall and a couple of feet of clearance for the doors to swing. Measure door swing before placing it in a tight corner.

Does it come with a warranty?

Prepac typically backs its cabinets with a limited parts warranty, but the store page does not spell it out. Confirm the terms with WoodArtSupply before ordering.

When is the price lowest?

Prices on flat-pack cabinets move with store promotions. Compare all four listings and check the price history before buying; $164.99 is the current best new price, not necessarily the floor.
