Is the Presto 06006 good for deep frying?

Yes, for small batches. It holds oil and comes with a basket, but the dial gives coarse heat control, so watch the temperature rather than relying on a thermostat.

How big is the cooking pot?

It is a compact countertop pot, roughly 12 inches wide, suited to one or two servings rather than family-sized batches.

Can I put the pot in the dishwasher?

The pot can be fully immersed once the heat control is removed. Hand washing is the safer choice to protect the nonstick coating.

What comes in the box?

The multi-cooker, a frying basket and a tempered glass cover. The Control Master heat control is included and detaches for cleaning.

Is the nonstick coating PFAS-free?

Yes, Presto lists the ceramic nonstick finish as PFAS-free.
