Our take on the PRORUN 60V 42-in. Zero-Turn Riding Lawn Mower with 10.0 Ah Batteries PZT60V42

The PRORUN PZT60V42 is a 60V battery-powered zero-turn riding mower with a 42-inch stamped-steel deck and three included 10.0 Ah batteries. PRORUN rates it at 24 HP gas equivalent and up to 1.5 acres per charge, with 360-degree zero-turn steering, mulching, side discharge and a deck washout port. Questions and answers

Is the PRORUN PZT60V42 worth $5,006.99?
That depends on whether quiet, gas-free operation is worth a premium. At $5,006.99 at Zoro.com as of November 4, 2026, it costs more than most gas zero-turns with a 42-inch deck, so the case rests on battery convenience and low maintenance.
How long does it run on a charge?
PRORUN rates coverage at up to 1.5 acres on a single charge with the three included 10.0 Ah batteries. Expect less in tall, thick or wet grass, and plan on several hours to recharge all three packs.
Does it come with batteries and a charger?
Yes. The box includes three 60V 10.0 Ah batteries, a charger and a mulch kit, plus a USB charging port, cup holder and phone tray.
Can it mulch and side discharge?
Yes. It has a mulching blade system and side discharge, and the mulch kit is included. A washout port on the deck makes cleanup easier.
How does it compare with a gas zero-turn?
It trades refueling for recharging and is much quieter, with no oil changes or spark plugs. A gas zero-turn of the same size usually costs less and runs all day on a tank, so the electric makes most sense on smaller lawns.
When is the best time to buy?
Mower prices typically drop at the end of the mowing season, in late summer and fall. Check the price history for this model before buying, since only one new-store price is currently listed.
