Questions and answers

Is the Puckipuppy Step-Through worth it?
If you want a comfortable city ebike with a step-through frame, torque-sensor assist and long range, it fits well. Check the live price against its recent range before buying, since no current price was supplied.
How does it compare with a rear-hub commuter like the Aventon Pace?
Both are step-through hybrids with removable batteries and 8-speed gearing. The Puckipuppy claims a higher 750W rated motor and 28 mph top speed, while the Pace line is lighter and more widely serviced.
What is the real battery range?
Puckipuppy rates the 48V 15Ah battery at 45–75 miles. Expect the low end with heavy throttle use, hills or a loaded rider, and the high end in low assist on flat ground.
How long does the battery take to charge?
The included 54.6V 2.0A charger is slow: a full charge from empty takes roughly 7 to 8 hours. The battery is removable, so you can charge it indoors.
What comes in the box?
The Poodle Pro ebike and a 54.6V 2.0A fast charger. Rack, fenders and lights are not listed, so budget for them if you commute in weather or after dark.
When is it cheapest?
Ebike prices usually dip around Black Friday, spring sales and end-of-season clearance. Set a price alert and compare against its recent range rather than buying at first sight.
What do buyers say about the Puckipuppy Step-Through Commuter Ebike?
