Best forOwners of 7- to 8-foot artificial treesHouseholds with heavy or wide treesPeople who want to roll a decorated tree into placeReplacing a flimsy factory stand
Pros
  • Rated for up to 150 lbs, enough for most 8-foot artificial trees
  • 21-inch base spreads weight for a steadier tree
  • Lockable casters let you move the tree, then fix it in place
  • Adjustable lockable trunk holder fits a range of trunk sizes
  • Green metal finish blends with the tree skirt and stand
Cons
  • Only fits trees up to 8 feet; taller trees need a bigger stand
  • Wide 21-inch footprint takes floor space and can catch a vacuum
  • Casters can roll if not locked on hard floors
  • Heavy metal build makes it bulky to store off-season

Questions and answers

Will it hold an 8-foot artificial tree?
Yes. It is rated for trees up to 8 feet and up to 150 lbs, which covers most full 7- to 8-foot artificial trees.
Does it fit trees with a thick trunk?
The lockable trunk holder is adjustable, so it clamps down on a range of trunk sizes rather than one fixed diameter.
Can I move the tree once it is set up?
Yes. The casters let you roll the stand, and the wheel locks hold it in place once it is positioned.
Is $36.99 a good price?
That is the best new price across the two stores that carry it as of November 5, 2026. Comparable lockable metal stands often run $40 to $60, so it is a reasonable buy at that price.
What is in the box?
The stand base, the adjustable lockable trunk holder and the casters. Assembly is straightforward and needs no extra tools beyond what is included.
Where is the Puleo 21" Lockable Artificial Tree Stand for up to 8' Trees cheapest?
At Michaels Stores, for $36.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Puleo 21" Lockable Artificial Tree Stand for up to 8' Trees?
