Will it hold a 7.5 ft artificial tree?

Yes. It is rated for trees up to 8 feet and up to 150-160 lbs, which covers most 7.5 ft artificial trees.

Yes. The casters have a lockable mechanism so the stand stays put once the tree is in place.

What is the base width?

21 inches. That is wider than most standard tree stands, which is what gives it stability with tall trees.

That is the best new price found, at Michaels Stores as of November 5, 2026. For a metal, lockable stand for a large tree, it is a reasonable buy.

It suits artificial trees with a standard center pole. Check your trunk diameter before buying, since very thick trunks may not fit the collar.
