- Is $70.98 a good price for this tree?
- It is a low price for a pre-lit flocked tree this size. Three stores list it new, and $70.98 at Lowe's as of November 8, 2026 is the best of those. Expect flocked pencil trees to run higher once you go above 4 ft.
- How wide is it, really?
- The listed width is 16 inches, which is the pencil profile. That fits hallways, beside a door or in a corner, but check your ceiling height: at 48 inches it is shorter than most people picture.
- Does it come with lights and a stand?
- It is pre-lit, so lights are built in. The listing does not spell out the stand, so confirm with the store before ordering if a stand is essential.
- Will the flocking make a mess?
- Flocked trees commonly shed some fake snow, most of all on the first setup and when packed away. Unpack it over a sheet or outdoors and store it in the original box.
- Can I use it outdoors?
- It is built for indoor display. PVC and paper flocking do not hold up to rain or damp, so keep it inside or on a covered porch.
- What if a light strand fails?
- The lights are wired into the tree, so a dead strand usually means replacing bulbs or adding a separate string. Test the lights before you decorate.
