Is the PUMA Softride Exo Shift good for running?

It is fine for light jogs and gym sessions, but the soft foam and textile upper are tuned for comfort, not pace. Runners doing regular mileage should look at a firmer, more structured trainer.

It has a normal width and a laced closure, and buyers generally report it fits true to size. If you are between sizes or wear thick socks, consider going up half a size.

What is the upper made of?

The upper and lining are textile, with a foam midsole, foam insole and rubber outsole. That makes it breathable and light but not water-resistant.

Is $34.95 a good price?

Yes. $34.95 at Shoebacca as of November 8, 2026 is a low price for a cushioned PUMA sneaker, and three stores list it new, so compare before buying.

Does it come in other colors?

This listing is the white colorway. PUMA has released the Softride Exo Shift in other colorways, so check the model name if you want a darker pair that hides dirt.
