Our take on the Punehod A3 13'' UV DTF Printer VF13 Dual XP600

The Punehod A3 UV DTF Printer VF13 is a roll-fed A3+ printer built for UV DTF transfer film, using dual XP600 printheads. It prints UV-cured transfers that can be applied to hard surfaces and fabrics without a heat press, which is the main reason small shops buy it. It connects over USB only and does not auto-duplex. Its listed price is $4,599 at the one store carrying it, and that is also its only recorded price since November 1, 2026, so there is no cheaper point to compare against yet.

Questions and answers

Is the Punehod VF13 worth $4,599?
It depends on volume. If you sell UV DTF transfers regularly, dual XP600 heads and A3+ roll feed can pay back faster than a single-head desktop unit. For occasional use, the price is hard to justify.
Does it need a heat press?
No. UV DTF transfers are applied by hand with pressure, so you can decorate tumblers, glass and plastics without a heat press. Fabric still needs a separate heat-press step for best durability.
What is the difference between the VF13 and a DTF film printer?
A DTF film printer uses textile powder and a heat press and is aimed at shirts. The VF13 uses UV-curable ink and a laminating film for hard surfaces, so the two serve different products.
Can it print over Wi-Fi?
No. The connection is USB only, so the printer needs to sit next to a computer. Plan for a dedicated workstation.
What comes in the box?
Expect the printer, ink lines and basic accessories. Confirm with the seller whether ink, cleaning cartridges, laminating film and RIP software are included, since these vary by bundle.
When is it cheapest?
The only recorded price is $4,599 as of November 1, 2026. There is no lower price history yet, so watch for bundle or shipping promotions rather than a price drop.
