Questions and answers

Is the Pure Warmth heated blanket worth it at $39.15?
At $39.15 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a large heated blanket with four settings and auto shut-off. Expect basic controls and fleece that needs careful washing rather than premium build.
How big is it and will it fit a queen bed?
It measures 84 by 77 inches, which covers the top of a queen bed with some overhang. It is a single blanket with one controller, not a dual-zone electric blanket.
Can I wash it in a machine?
Yes. It is machine washable and dryer safe, but detach the cord and controller first and follow the care label. Wash cold and tumble low to limit pilling.
Does it shut off on its own?
Yes. It has an auto shut-off timer and overheat protection, which is useful if you fall asleep with it on. Check the controller for the timer length.
Is it safe for kids?
The listing groups it for kids and it has overheat protection and auto shut-off. Still, keep the cord and controller out of reach of small children and avoid bunched-up use on high heat.
When is it cheapest?
Heated blankets usually drop in late fall and around Black Friday. The current $39.15 at Walmart is already near the bottom of its recent range, so waiting may not save much.
