Our take on the Puredashio 2-in-1 Convertible Sofa Bed Corduroy Sleeper Couch with Memory Foam

The Puredashio 2-in-1 Convertible Sofa Bed is a corduroy-upholstered sleeper that folds flat from a 56-inch sofa into a bed, built on a metal frame rated to 800 lb. Its memory foam seat and track arms give it a softer, more upholstered look than most folding futons. At 56 inches wide it is a compact loveseat, sized for small apartments, studios and guest rooms rather than a main family couch. No current price was provided, so check the latest quote against its recent range before buying.

Guest rooms and home offices that occasionally host overnight visitors
Renters who want a lightweight, movable sleeper
Buyers who like the textured corduroy look in a warm orange
Pros
  • Converts from sofa to flat sleeper without tools
  • Memory foam seat adds comfort over basic foam futons
  • Metal frame rated to 800 lb, high for this size
  • Compact 56-inch footprint fits tight rooms
  • Corduroy fabric is soft and hides light wear well
  • 27-inch seat depth gives decent lounging room
Cons
  • 56 inches seats only two people comfortably
  • 17.3-inch back height is low; not a headrest for tall sitters
  • Folding sleepers are firmer and less supportive than a real mattress
  • Corduroy picks up lint and pet hair and needs spot cleaning
  • Orange is a bold color that limits room matching

Questions and answers

Is this sofa bed comfortable to sleep on every night?
It is fine for occasional guests, but the memory foam over a folding frame is thinner than a mattress. For nightly sleeping, expect to add a topper or choose a true sleeper sofa.
How many people does it seat?
Two adults comfortably at 56 inches wide. Three is tight and only works for short sitting.
Does it fold out flat?
Yes, the back folds down to make a flat sleeping surface. The seat depth of 27 inches and back height of 17.3 inches set the bed's usable length.
What is the weight limit?
The metal frame is rated to 800 lb total. That is generous for a two-seat sleeper and covers two heavy adults.
Is assembly required?
Expect to attach the legs and possibly the arms, since it ships flat-packed. The metal frame keeps the pieces manageable for one person.
When is the price lowest?
Convertible sofas usually dip during holiday sales and end-of-season clearances. Compare the current quote with its recent price history before buying.
