Our take on the Purina Fancy Feast Grilled Kitten Food, Wet Cat Food, Salmon Feast in Gravy, 3 oz Can, 24 Pack

Fancy Feast Grilled Salmon Feast in Gravy is a grain-free wet kitten food sold in 3 oz cans, here as a 24-pack. It pairs salmon with a soft grilled-style texture in gravy, which suits kittens still learning to eat solid food. The 24-pack works out to a modest per-can cost for a food sold mainly through pet specialty and grocery channels.

Questions and answers

Is this food complete for kittens?
Yes. Fancy Feast Grilled kitten recipes are formulated as complete wet food for kittens and growing cats, so it can be fed alone rather than only as a topper.
How much should I feed a kitten?
Feeding guides typically suggest roughly one can per 3 to 3.5 pounds of body weight per day, split across meals. Kittens under a year eat more per pound than adults, so check the can label and adjust with your vet.
Is it grain free?
Yes, this recipe is grain free. That matters for owners avoiding wheat, corn and rice, though grain-free is not automatically better for every kitten.
Can adult cats eat it?
They can, but kitten food is richer in calories and nutrients than most adult maintenance diets. Feed it to adults only occasionally unless your vet advises otherwise.
How does it compare with Fancy Feast pate?
The grilled line has a softer, shredded texture in gravy, while pate is denser and smoother. Kittens that turn away from pate often accept the grilled texture more readily.
When is the best time to buy the 24-pack?
Multi-can packs usually drop in price during pet food sales and subscription promotions. Compare the per-can price against single 3 oz cans before buying.
