Is $39.99 a good price for this brush?

Yes. At $39.99 at Macy's as of November 6, 2026, it is at the low end of its recent range, and the 12 included heads alone would cost more than that from most brands.

How often do I need new heads?

Dentists generally suggest a new head every three months, so the 12 included heads cover about three years for one user.

Is it good for sensitive gums?

The bristles are medium nylon, which some owners find firm. If your gums bleed easily, a soft-bristle brush may suit you better.

Can it be used in the shower?

Yes. The handle has a waterproof design, so it is fine at the sink or in the shower.

What comes in the box?

The brush handle, a charging base with the UV function, and 12 replacement heads.

How does it compare with a big-brand sonic brush?

It matches the 30,000 strokes-per-minute class and adds 12 heads and a UV base, but the handle and bristles feel less refined than premium models.
