Is the Quince linen sheet set worth it?

At $134 for a queen set, it is one of the cheaper ways to get European flax linen. If you want breathable bedding and do not mind wrinkles, it is a solid buy.

How does linen compare to cotton percale?

Both sleep cool, but linen is more textured, heavier and wrinkles more. Percale is smoother and crisper out of the wash.

Will the sheets shrink?

Linen can shrink slightly, especially with hot water or a hot dryer. Wash cold and tumble low to keep the fit.

What is included in the set?

A queen set includes a flat sheet, a fitted sheet and two pillowcases, with piping along the edges.

Does it fit deep mattresses?

The fitted sheet has a standard pocket depth. Very thick mattresses with toppers may pull the corners tight.

When is the best time to buy?

Quince runs periodic sales, and linen sets often drop during seasonal promotions. The recorded price is $134 as of October 31.

Our take on the Quince European Linen Piped Sheet Set

The Quince European Linen Piped Sheet Set is a stonewashed European flax linen bedding set with a contrast piped edge, sold as a complete set in Queen. Linen sleeps cooler than cotton and softens with each wash, and the piping gives it a finished hotel look. It is priced at $134 at Quince as of October 31, which is the only price recorded so far, so there is no lower or higher point to compare against yet.
