Is the R.W. Flame 42,000 BTU grill worth it?

For a small patio and a budget under a few hundred dollars, yes. It gives you four burners and 42,000 BTU in a 23-inch body, which most grills at this width don't offer. If you regularly cook for more than four people, step up to a wider grill.

How does it compare with a Weber Spirit or Napoleon?

Those brands use heavier steel and hold heat better, and they carry longer warranties. The R.W. Flame costs less and is narrower, so it suits tight spaces. Expect a shorter lifespan, not better cooking.

How long does a propane tank last?

At full output the four burners burn roughly 2 pounds of propane per hour, so a standard 20-pound tank lasts about 8 to 10 hours. Cooking at medium heat stretches that to 12 hours or more.

What comes in the box?

You get the grill body, four burners, cooking grates, a grease tray and assembly hardware. A propane tank and hose regulator are usually not included, so check before you buy.

Gas grills in this class tend to drop in price at the end of summer and around Memorial Day sales. Watch the price history rather than buying at full price in spring.

Our take on the R.W. FLAME 42,000 BTU Propane BBQ Gas Grill

The R.W. Flame 42,000 BTU is a four-burner propane gas grill with a stainless steel finish and a 23-inch-wide body. It targets small patios and balconies where a full-size cart grill won't fit, and its 42,000 BTU output is strong for its footprint. The four burners give it two-zone cooking, so you can sear on one side and hold food warm on the other. It is a budget-to-midrange grill rather than a premium one, so expect lighter-gauge steel than a $600+ brand.
