Questions and answers

Is the RadioShack 4001763 worth it at $27.49?
At $27.49 at RadioShack as of October 28, it is a low-cost way to get 14W of sound, FM radio and an IPX6 rating. That price is also the only one on record, so there is no cheaper point to wait for.
How does it compare with other budget Bluetooth speakers?
It matches typical budget rivals on Bluetooth, USB and AUX, and adds FM radio and TWS pairing. The IPX6 rating is better than many speakers at this price, which often have no water rating.
How long does the battery last?
RadioShack does not list a battery life figure for this model. Expect shorter runtime with the RGB lights on and at high volume.
Can I pair two of these for stereo sound?
Yes. True Wireless Stereo pairing links two 4001763 units into a left and right pair for wider sound. You need two speakers to do it.
Does it work with a phone for calls?
Yes. The built-in microphone lets you take hands-free calls over Bluetooth. Call quality depends on how close the speaker is to you.
What comes in the box?
The listing does not spell out the box contents. Expect the speaker and a charging cable; check for an AUX cable and manual before buying if you need them.
