Our take on the Ralph Lauren RL8146P Sunglasses

The RL8146P is a women's round full-rim sunglass from Ralph Lauren, built in plastic with mirrored crystal lenses. The 49-22-145 sizing is a regular fit, with 46mm lens height and 145mm temples. It is not polarized, so the mirrored finish is for looks and glare reduction rather than cutting road or water glare. The best new price is $183.15 at Macy's as of November 6, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Are the RL8146P lenses polarized?
No. The lenses are mirrored crystal, not polarized, so they reduce brightness but do not cut glare the way polarized lenses do.

Is $183.15 a good price?
Only one store lists it new at $183.15 as of November 6, 2026, so there is no lower competing price to compare. Designer sunglasses at this level often sell near full retail.
What comes in the box?
Ralph Lauren sunglasses typically ship with a case and cleaning cloth. Check the listing for the exact included accessories.
Can I swap in prescription lenses?
The frame is not sold with interchangeable lenses, but a optical shop can usually fit prescription lenses into a full-rim plastic frame like this one.
