Is this stool good for a kitchen island?

Yes, if your counter height matches a bar stool. Check the seat height against your counter before buying, since the listing does not state it. The swivel and arms make it comfortable for short meals and drinks.

How does faux leather hold up?

Faux leather resists spills and wipes clean, which suits a bar or game room. It can crack or peel over years of heavy use, unlike real leather. Keep it out of direct sun to slow that.

Does the stool swivel a full 360 degrees?

It is a swivel stool, so the seat turns freely on the base. Confirm the exact swivel range with the store if you need a full turn. The arms mean it will not tuck fully under a counter.

What is included with the stool?

It ships as one stool. Assembly hardware is normally included, but check the store listing for what is in the box. Stools are usually sold singly, not in pairs.

When is the best time to buy it?

Bar stools often drop during furniture sales around holidays and at the end of a season. Compare prices across stores before buying, since this brand is sold by several retailers. There is no fixed sale schedule.

Our take on the RAM Game Room Swivel Bar Stool With Arms in Black

The RAM Game Room Swivel Bar Stool is a traditional wood bar stool with a chestnut finish, faux leather seat and back, and a full swivel base. It has armrests and a back, so it works as a game-room or kitchen-counter seat rather than a backless utility stool. The chestnut wood frame and dark faux leather give it a heavier, club-room look than most metal bar stools. It is a niche brand, so stock and pricing vary by store.
