The RANE PERFORMER is the only 4-channel motorized DJ controller built to RANE’s rigorous standards. The PERFORMER earns the namesake from the talented professional artists that put this controller to work, making good use of the PRECISION FEEL FADERS, MAG FOUR crossfader, and industry-leading sound quality. Each 7-inch jog wheel is outfitted with vivid Day Mode-capable displays, providing real-time information and feedback as you dial in the details with exacting precision via high-torque faders. Furthermore, the Performer’s I/O array and onboard Serato integration make back-to-back or multimode DJing seamless. Between its adjustable Mag Four crossfader, 4-channel architecture, and customizable interfacing capabilities, the Rane Performer is the gateway to boundary-pushing remixes, daring you to explore where conventional mixing ends and next-gen production begins.
Stem Separation: Unmatched Open-Format Mixing
With the Rane Performer, there is no shortage of creative tools at your disposal, and the mixer’s powerful engine delivers four modes of stem separation, including Stem Split, allowing you to instantly untangle and send vocal and instrumental parts to designated mixer channels for flexible effects enhancement. It only gets more detailed from here, with versatile performance possibilities that enable deeper stem separation, stem locking, a stem-based performance pad mode, and re-mapping a channel’s 3-band EQ to individually adjust, boost, or kill the stems specific to that channel’s track. From on-the-fly remixes and club IDs to bleeding-edge battle-style mixing and boundless mash-up possibilities, the Performer is ground zero for next-gen artistry.
Multidimensional FX and Serato-Powered Possibilities
Accompanying Rane’s innovations in stem-extraction technology, the Performer was outfitted with a robust suite of 25 onboard effects, as well as a fader mode that draws straight from A-Trak’s signature Rane Seventy mixer, ensuring DJs that these tools have been road-tested for voltaic performances. Its internal engine includes a customizable array of 25 Main FX, with four dedicated Channel FX that see classic Reverb and Echo modes joined by exciting additions, like Scale Down, Riser, and Recycler. What’s more, the Performer’s built-in Serato compatibility means unbridled access to the vanguard DJ software’s armature of texturization tools, immensely expanding your aural arsenal. When using the Fader FX suite, the Precision Feel faders transform into linear controls for ring modulation, pitch, and roll, opening exciting doors for mixing, remixing, and stem manipulation.
Unrivaled Precision and Hands-On Control
Precision Feel volume faders and a Mag Four crossfader utilize dual-rail systems that are fully adjustable, with easily accessed menu options for total customization, including reversals and 0–100% cut-in curve adjustments. Additionally, each 7-inch platter is supported by high-torque motors. All 16 performance pads are RGB-backlit, allowing you to maintain seamless visual tracking of your pad-fueled looping, slicing, sampling, one-shots, stem re-sampling, and more. Finally, the magnetically attached acrylic discs provide a lifelike vinyl feel and comprehensive tension adjustment, guaranteeing your hands-on control is tailored to suit.
Versatile Connectivity for Back-to-Back and Beyond
Keeping an eye on the future while firmly rooted in the DJ tradition, the Performer was designed to facilitate multitudes of mixing magic. Its dual USB Type-B ports are your bridge to Serato effects and performance tools, as well as untold configurations of multimode mixing setups, augmented by the pair of combi-jack Mic inputs and RCA stereo input pairs dedicated to the mixer’s third and fourth channels. When it comes to live arrangements, the Performer pulls no punches in its adaptability, easily accommodating back-to-back setups with its dyad of 1/4-inch and 3.5-millimeter TRS headphone jacks. Meanwhile, a toggled Split-Cue mode ensures soloists can mix with comfort and flexibility.
