Is the CR450 bright enough for city commuting?

Yes for lit streets and being seen in traffic. Its 50-lumen rapid flash is a visibility mode, not a headlight for unlit roads, so pair it with a brighter light if you ride dark routes.

How long does the battery last?

Runtime depends on the mode, and the 1600mAh battery is small, so expect to recharge every few days of commuting. You can plug it into an external power source while riding to extend runtime.

Can I use it in heavy rain?

Yes. It is rated IPX6, which covers heavy rain, though you should keep the USB port cover sealed when wet.

What comes in the box?

The light, a handlebar quick-release mount and a wired remote button. Check the listing for the charging cable.

It uses a quick-release handlebar mount, so you can clip the light off to charge or carry it. The remote button mounts near the grip.

Bike lights usually drop during spring and early summer sales and around Black Friday. Check the price history before buying.
