Is the Predator 2 good for golf?

Yes. The wrap shape and 8-base curve block glare from the sides, and the G-15 green lens keeps grass and sky colors natural. Polarized versions cut glare off water and bright fairways.

How does the Predator 2 compare to the original Predator?

The Predator 2 keeps the wide wrap look but uses a lighter nylon frame and a more modern lens lineup, including polarized and gradient options. It is still a large frame, so it fits the same wide faces.

Will these fit a narrow face?

Probably not well. The 62 mm lens and 19 mm bridge make this a wide, high-bridge frame, and the 130 mm temples are short. Shoppers with smaller faces should look at a narrower Ray-Ban wrap.

Can I put prescription lenses in them?

Yes. The lenses are replaceable, so an optician can fit prescription lenses into the frame. Check with the shop first, since wrap frames need a special lens curve.

What comes in the box?

Ray-Ban typically ships the sunglasses with a case and a cleaning cloth. Confirm the case type with the store, since some sport models come with a soft pouch instead of a hard case.

When is the price lowest?

Ray-Ban sunglasses tend to drop during seasonal sales and around major shopping events. Compare the current price against the recent range before buying.

Our take on the Ray-Ban Predator 2 Men's Sport Wrap Sunglasses

The Ray-Ban Predator 2 is a full-rim sport wrap built for golf and other outdoor activity. It uses a nylon frame with an 8-base curve that wraps close to the face, and crystal lenses with 100% UV protection and a polarized option. The 62-19 size with a 130 mm temple is a wide, high-bridge fit, so it suits larger faces better than average frames.
