Our take on the Ray-Ban RB3706 Sunglasses

The RB3706 is a full-rim metal-frame sunglass with gradient grey crystal lenses, adjustable nose pads and a standard fit. The lenses give 100% UV protection at Category 3 darkness, so they suit bright days but not driving at night or very low light. The 54-20 frame with 140 mm temples is a middle-of-the-road unisex size. At $129.50 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, the best new price sits well below what Ray-Ban metal frames usually cost new, with only 2 stores pricing it new.

Pros

Full metal frame with adjustable nose pads for a steadier fit

Cons

Not polarized, so glare off water and roads is only partly reduced
Gradient tint is a poor choice for driving or low light
Crystal lenses scratch more easily than polycarbonate if dropped
Only 2 stores price it new, so stock and color choice are limited
