Our take on the Regale White Vase or Ginger Jar with Gold or Silver Detail Gold Finish

The Regale white ceramic ginger jar stands 16.5 inches tall and 7.8 inches wide in the large size, with gold or silver detailing on a white glazed body. It is a decorative accent for a console, mantel or entryway rather than a vessel for cut flowers. The large size is the one to watch on price; the small size sells for less and suits shelves.

Pros
  • Tall 16.5-inch profile fills vertical space
  • Neutral white body with metallic trim suits many rooms
  • Ginger-jar shape reads as traditional decor
  • Available in gold or silver detail
  • Sold in small and large sizes, and as a set
Cons
  • Ceramic is breakable and heavy to ship
  • Decorative use only, not for water and stems
  • Metallic trim can look cheap up close on budget ceramics
  • Large size needs a wide surface

Questions and answers

Is it worth it?
If you want a tall decorative jar for a mantel or entryway, yes. It is not a functional vase, so skip it if you plan to hold water and flowers.
Can I put real flowers in it?
No. It is a ceramic ginger jar with a lid-style top, meant for display. Use a separate vase for fresh stems.
How big is the large size?
16.5 inches tall and 7.8 inches wide. Check your shelf or mantel depth before ordering.
Should I get gold or silver?
Match the trim to your room's hardware and light fixtures. Gold suits warm schemes, silver suits cooler ones.
Is it sold as a set?
Yes, a set option is listed alongside the small and large single sizes. Confirm which sizes the set includes before buying.
When is it cheapest?
Decorative ceramics usually dip during home decor sales and around the holidays. Compare the small and large prices before buying.
