Is $56.99 a good price for this shelving unit?

It is the only new price listed as of November 8, 2026, at Walmart, so there is nothing to compare it to. For a four-shelf steel unit rated at 3,200 lb, it is inexpensive; just note no other store currently competes on price.

Can the shelves hold 400 lb each in real use?

The 400 lb per-shelf and 3,200 lb total ratings assume even weight distribution on a level floor. The MDF boards and light steel frame are the weak points, so keep heavy loads centered and spread out.

How tall and deep is it?

It measures about 71 inches high, 60 inches wide and 12 inches deep. The 12-inch shelf depth fits standard storage totes but not deep bins or large appliances.

Does it come with a warranty?

No. The listing states there is no written warranty, so check the unit on arrival and keep your receipt.

The shelving unit ships unassembled with a hammer and a pair of gloves included. You supply the time for assembly; no tools beyond the hammer are listed.
