Our take on the Reliable Brio 4.5 Bar Steam Cleaner with 17 Piece Accessory Kit

The Reliable Brio is a 1.5L pressurized steam cleaner rated at 4.5 bar, powered by an 1800W heating element that draws 15 amps. It ships with a 17-piece accessory kit for floors, grout, upholstery and detail work. At 13.7 lb it is heavier than most handheld steamers, so it suits whole-room cleaning more than quick touch-ups. No current store price was provided, so check the price history before buying.

Questions and answers

Is the Reliable Brio worth it over a cheaper handheld steamer?
If you clean tile, grout and large floor areas regularly, the higher pressure and bigger tank justify the price. For occasional spot cleaning, a lighter handheld is easier to live with.
What can the 15-amp draw mean for my outlets?
It pulls close to a full 15-amp circuit, so avoid sharing the outlet with other high-draw appliances. Older wiring may trip the breaker.
How long does the 1.5L tank last?
Expect roughly 30 to 45 minutes of continuous steaming depending on the attachment and how often you trigger the steam. Refilling requires letting the unit cool and depressurize first.
What is in the 17-piece accessory kit?
The kit covers floor and grout brushes, detail brushes, a window squeegee, extension wands and a fabric tool. Check the box list against what you plan to clean.
When is the best time to buy it?
Watch the price history around spring cleaning season and major sales events. Compare across stores, since this model is often discounted by different retailers at different times.
What do buyers say about the Reliable Brio 4.5 Bar Steam Cleaner with 17 Piece Accessory Kit?
