Our take on the Ricardo Wild Meadows Pinch Pleat with Back Tabs Curtain Pair

The Ricardo Wild Meadows curtain pair is a polyester, light-filtering panel set with a tailored pinch-pleat header that also hangs from back tabs. Each panel is 84 inches tall, a standard floor-length size for living rooms and bedrooms. The plain-weave fabric is machine washable, though it is not fade resistant, so keep it out of direct sun. It is a traditional, easy-care option rather than a blackout or thermal curtain.

Best forRenters who want a tailored look without custom curtainsLiving rooms and bedrooms needing soft light filteringHouseholds that want washable curtainsTraditional or transitional decor
Pros
  • Pinch pleat and back tab header gives a finished, gathered look
  • Machine washable polyester is easy to care for
  • Light filtering softens glare while keeping a room bright
  • Works in bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and offices
  • Sold as a pair of two panels
Cons
  • Not fade resistant, so strong sun can dull the fabric
  • Light filtering only, not blackout for sleepers
  • Plain-weave polyester has a less premium hand than linen or cotton
  • Pinch pleats need pressing after washing to hold their shape

Questions and answers

Are these curtains blackout?
No. They are light filtering, so they soften daylight but do not block it. Use a liner or blackout panel behind them if you need a dark bedroom.
What size are the panels?
Each panel is 84 inches tall. Check the width per panel against your rod, since pinch pleats need extra fabric to gather.
Can I hang them two ways?
Yes. The header has both pinch pleats and back tabs, so you can hang them gathered on rings or threaded on the rod.
Are they machine washable?
Yes. Wash on a gentle cycle and rehang or press the pleats while slightly damp to keep the shape.
Will they fade in sunlight?
The fabric is not fade resistant. Keep them away from prolonged direct sun or use a lining.
