Does the Ridgid 360° Area Light come with a battery?

No. The $139.00 listing at Home Depot is the light only. It runs on any Ridgid 18V battery, and the 6.0Ah MAX Output pack is the largest capacity Ridgid lists for it.

How bright is it and how long does it run?

It has three modes: 500, medium and 2,000 lumens. Runtime depends on the battery; a larger 6.0Ah pack lasts longer than a compact one, and high mode drains it fastest.

Can I use it outdoors in the rain?

Yes, within limits. It is rated IPX4 for water splashes and IP5X for dust, so light rain and dusty sites are fine, but it is not built for submersion.

How do I hang or carry it?

It has an integrated hanging hook for overhead use and dual carrying handles. At 10.7 in tall and 5 lb without a battery, it is easy to move between rooms.

Is $139.00 a good price?

Home Depot is the only new listing found at $139.00 as of November 6, 2026, so there is no lower new price to compare. Watch for bundle deals if you also need batteries.
