Our take on the Ridington Max-R 24V 4WD Kids Ride-On UTV with Parental Remote

The Ridington Max-R is a 24-volt, four-wheel-drive ride-on UTV in blue, built for two kids on rough ground. It comes with a parental remote so an adult can steer and stop it before the child is ready to drive alone. The best new price is $698 at Big Toys Direct as of November 5, 2026, up from $619.99 on October 30, 2026. That $619.99 is the only price recorded in the recent range, so $698 sits about $78 above the low point seen so far.

Pros
  • 24-volt system gives more torque and speed than common 12V ride-ons
  • Four-wheel drive handles grass, dirt and small inclines better than two-wheel drive
  • Parental remote lets an adult steer and stop the vehicle
  • UTV body style with open cabin suits two riders
  • Blue finish stands out from the usual red and pink ride-ons
Cons
  • At $698 it costs well above most 12V kids' ride-ons
  • Heavy 24V 4WD units are harder to store and move when off
  • Battery run time drops fast on grass and hills
  • Replacement 24V batteries and motors cost more than 12V parts
  • No published spec sheet here on speed, weight limit or run time

Questions and answers

Is the Ridington Max-R worth $698?
It is a lot for a kids' ride-on, but 24V power, 4WD and a parental remote are the features that justify the price. If your kids ride on grass or gravel rather than pavement, it makes more sense than a cheaper 12V car.
How fast does a 24V UTV like this go?
Most 24V ride-ons top out around 5 to 8 mph, roughly double a typical 12V model. Check the box or the store listing for the exact top speed before buying.
Can two kids ride in it at once?
The UTV body is sized for two small riders, but the weight limit matters more than the seat count. Confirm the maximum load before letting two kids in.
How does the parental remote work?
The remote lets an adult steer, accelerate and brake from behind the vehicle, and it usually overrides the child's controls. It works best within a short range, so stay close.
Is $698 a good price?
The only recent price on record is $619.99 on October 30, 2026, so $698 is about $78 above that low. Waiting for a sale or a coupon could bring it back toward $620.
What comes in the box?
Expect the UTV, the 24V battery and charger, the parental remote and assembly hardware. Confirm the included charger and remote with the store, since bundles vary.
Where is the Ridington Max-R 24V 4WD Kids Ride-On UTV with Parental Remote cheapest?
At Big Toys Direct, for $698.00, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Ridington Max-R 24V 4WD Kids Ride-On UTV with Parental Remote?
