Is the RitKeep Smith Machine worth it?

For a home lifter who wants Smith, cable and pull-up work in one footprint, yes. At $1,099.99 at RitKeep Fitness as of November 7, 2026, it costs less than a separate rack and cable tower.

Does it come with weight plates?

No. The bar and weight stack are plate-loaded, so you need to buy plates separately. Budget for a set large enough for your heaviest squat and press.

How much space does it need?

It is a full-height station with a wide base, so plan for a garage or basement bay with clearance above for the pull-up bar and room around the cables. Check the listed dimensions against your ceiling height before ordering.

Can one person assemble it?

It can be done alone but is slow and awkward. Two people make the frame and cable routing much easier.

Is it good for beginners?

Yes. The guided Smith bar helps with balance and lets you train without a spotter, and the cables cover accessory work as you progress.

When is the best time to buy?

Only one store lists it new, so there is little price competition. Watch for RitKeep Fitness sales around holidays rather than expecting frequent discounts.
