Questions and answers

Is the PMAX-5600 worth it over buying separate machines?
If you would otherwise buy a rack, a Smith machine and a cable crossover, one $1,729.99 unit saves space and money. If you mainly lift free weights, a simpler rack costs far less.
How much cable resistance do I get?
Each selectorized stack holds 160 lb, and the two can be used together or independently. That suits most accessory and isolation work but is light for heavy lat pulldowns or rows.
How much weight can the Smith bar and rack hold?
The Smith bar is rated to 440 lb and the rack frame to 2,000 lb. The 12 safety catch positions have a shock-absorbing spring system for failed reps.
What comes in the box?
You get the 35 lb Smith barbell and 10+ attachments, including J-Hooks, safety arms, dip bars, a lat bar, D-handles, a tricep rope, foot plate, T-bar, short bar and landmine.
How much floor space does it need?
It is a full power rack with a crossover, so plan for a dedicated footprint with clearance for the bar and cables. Measure your ceiling height before buying, since the chin-up station sits on top.
When is it cheapest?
Its lowest recent price was $1,729.99 on November 2, 2026, matching the current $1,729.99 at RitKeep Fitness. The high in that window was $1,839.99 on October 29, 2026.
Where is the RitKeep Gym Smith Machine PMAX-5600 cheapest?
At RitKeep Fitness, for $1,729.99, 40% off, as of our latest check.
Is the RitKeep Gym Smith Machine PMAX-5600 at its lowest price?
Yes: $1,729.99 is the lowest price we've seen for it since October 29.
What do buyers say about the RitKeep Gym Smith Machine PMAX-5600?
