Our take on the RK ROYAL KLUDGE RK920 Full Size 104 Keys Wired RGB Backlit Mechanical Keyboard

The RK920 is a full-size 104-key wired mechanical keyboard with RGB backlighting, PBT keycaps, N-key rollover and dedicated media controls. It comes with a choice of Blue, Brown or Red switches, so you can pick a loud clicky feel or a quieter linear one. At $54.99 at RK Royal Kludge as of November 6, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Pros
  • Full 104-key layout with numeric keypad and media controls
  • Choice of Blue, Brown or Red mechanical switches

  • N-key rollover and anti-ghosting for gaming
  • RGB rainbow backlighting
Cons
  • Wired only in practice; the Bluetooth listing is inconsistent with a wired board
  • Rainbow lighting, not per-key RGB customization
  • Full-size body takes up a lot of desk space
  • Blue switch version is loud enough to bother others in the room

  • Typing feelPraisedOwners say the mechanical switches feel satisfying and consistent for the price.
  • KeycapsPraisedThe PBT keycaps are called out as a step up from the ABS caps common at this price.
  • LightingMixedThe RGB backlight looks good, but some wish it were per-key customizable rather than fixed rainbow patterns.
  • SizeMixedThe full-size layout is useful for the numpad but takes up significant desk space.
  • NoiseCriticisedThe Blue switch version is loud and can be distracting to people nearby.

Questions and answers

Which switch should I pick?
Blue gives a loud click and strong tactile bump, Brown gives a quieter tactile feel, and Red is smooth and linear for gaming. Pick Blue only if noise is not a concern.
Is it wireless?
The board is wired. The listing mentions Bluetooth, but the RK920 connects by USB cable, so plan on a cable to your PC or laptop.
Does it work with a Mac?
It is listed as compatible with Mac OS, Windows, Android and iOS, though the media keys and layout are laid out for Windows first.
Is the backlight per-key RGB?
No. It is rainbow backlighting with lighting modes, not individually programmable per-key color.
Is $54.99 a good price?
It is the only new price listed as of November 6, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge against. For a full-size board with PBT caps and switch choice, it is a low entry price.
Where is the RK ROYAL KLUDGE RK920 Full Size 104 Keys Wired RGB Backlit Mechanical Keyboard cheapest?
At RK Royal Kludge, for $54.99, as of our latest check.
