The Rockford Fosgate Prime R500X1D is a 500-watt mono Class-D amplifier designed to power a dedicated subwoofer system. It delivers 300 watts RMS at 4 ohms and 500 watts RMS at 2 ohms, with an efficient Class-D design, MOSFET power supply, cast aluminum heatsink, and built-in thermal, over-current, and short-circuit protection. For system tuning, the R500X1D features Punch Bass with up to +18 dB boost at 45 Hz, 0°–180° phase control, and an adjustable 50–250 Hz low-pass crossover. The included remote Punch Level Control provides convenient subwoofer level adjustment from the listening position. High-level and RCA inputs provide flexible system integration, while RCA pass-thru outputs make it easy to add another amplifier. The R500X1D also features 4 AWG power/ground connections, 8 AWG speaker connections, and CTA-2006-compliant power ratings.
