Is the Roku Select Series 4K TV worth it?

It is a reasonable buy if you mainly stream and want Roku built in at a low price. If you care about deep blacks, Dolby Vision or gaming, spend more on a mid-range set.

Does it support Dolby Vision?

No. It supports HDR10 and HDR10+, not Dolby Vision, so Dolby Vision content plays in a standard HDR or SDR mode.

Is it good for gaming?

Only casually. The 60 Hz panel and lack of HDMI 2.1 features like variable refresh rate make it a poor fit for fast console gaming.

Yes. It uses a 400x300 VESA mount, and the stand width is about 43.1 inches if you keep it on a table.

The TV, its stand legs, a Roku remote and power cable. Check the listing for the exact remote model, since some versions ship with a voice remote.

Roku TVs typically drop around Black Friday and back-to-school sales. Watch the price history on this page rather than buying at list price.

Our take on the Roku 50" Select Series 4K HDR Smart TV

The Roku Select Series is Roku's entry-level 4K TV line, sold in a 50-inch size with a 60 Hz LED panel, HDR10+ support and the Roku streaming interface built in. It has three HDMI ports, Wi-Fi, an ATSC/Clear QAM tuner and a bezel-less design, and it works with Alexa and Google Assistant. It is a budget set aimed at streaming first, not at bright rooms or gaming. No current price was provided, so check the live comparison for where it sits against its recent range.
