Will it damage paint when removed?

On smooth, fully cured paint it is designed to peel off cleanly. On fresh paint, textured walls or poorly bonded paint it can lift the surface, so test a small corner first.

What surface does it stick to best?

Flat, smooth, dust-free surfaces: painted drywall, glass, metal and laminate. Skip brick, cinder block, textured plaster and walls painted less than about three weeks ago.

Can I move it after sticking it down?

Yes. Peel it back slowly and reapply while the adhesive is still clean. Once dust or hair gets on the backing, it holds less well.

How big is the tree, and does it come in pieces?

It ships as several numbered sheets that you assemble into one large tree. Check the listed assembled dimensions against your wall before ordering.

Is it safe in a nursery?

It is a PVC vinyl decal, not a toy, and it is meant to be applied out of a child's reach. Keep the backing sheets away from small children.

Our take on the RoomMates Mod Tree Peel Stick Giant Wall Decal

The RoomMates Mod Tree is a peel-and-stick giant wall decal: a brown, multicolor tree with white accents printed on removable PVC. It applies to smooth walls without paste or tools and pulls off without damaging paint, which makes it a fit for renters and quick room refreshes. It is a single large statement piece rather than a full-wall covering, so it suits one focal wall. No current price or recent price range was provided, so check the live comparison before buying.
