Is this food worth the price?

It is a solid maintenance food for small adult dogs, and the kibble design is a real advantage for tiny mouths. Compare cost per pound with other small-breed formulas, since this line runs higher than supermarket brands.

How does it differ from Royal Canin's puppy small-breed food?

This is the adult formula, with calories and nutrients set for fully grown dogs. Puppies should stay on the small-breed puppy food until about 10 to 12 months.

How long does a 14 lb bag last?

For a 15 lb dog eating roughly 1 to 1.25 cups a day, a 14 lb bag lasts about four to five weeks. Smaller dogs stretch it further.

No. Corn, brewers rice and brown rice are among the main ingredients. Dogs with grain allergies need a different formula.

One 14 lb bag of dry chicken-flavored kibble. It is not a multi-bag or wet-food bundle.

Our take on the Royal Canin Size Health Nutrition Small Adult Dry Dog Food, 14 lb

Royal Canin Size Health Nutrition Small Adult is a chicken-flavored dry kibble made for small-breed adult dogs, roughly 10 to 25 pounds. The kibble is shaped for miniature jaws, and the formula targets weight maintenance and bone strength. It is a grain-based recipe, with corn, brewers rice and brown rice among the first ingredients, so it is not for grain-free diets. The 14 lb bag is the mid-size option in the line; check the current price against its recent range before buying.
