Is the Ryobi HP brushless impact driver worth it?

At $59.95 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a low entry price for 159 ft-lb and a brushless motor. It makes the most sense if you already own ONE+ 18V batteries.

Does the kit include a battery and charger?

Kit contents depend on the listing. Check the included items before buying, since some listings sell the bare tool only.

How does it compare to the standard Ryobi impact driver?

The HP brushless version adds torque and a fourth mode over the older brushed model, and the brushless motor should last longer. It costs more than the base model but less than pro-grade drivers.

It handles deck screws, lag screws with a proper bit, and general assembly work. The 1/4-inch hex drive needs an adapter for sockets.

When is the best time to buy?

Prices on this driver swing with Ryobi promotions, often around spring and holiday sales. With only two stores listing it new, compare both before buying.
