Is the Salomon Genesis good for rocky technical trails?

Yes. It is designed for technical runs on rocky, mixed terrain, with high foot protection, a 4.5 mm lug contaGRIP outsole and a durable Matryx upper.

How much does the Salomon Genesis weigh?

About 10 oz per shoe. That is mid-weight for a protected trail shoe, so it favors security over race-day lightness.

What drop and cushioning does the Genesis have?

It has an 8 mm drop and moderate optiFOAM cushioning. That suits runners who want some ground feel with a higher drop than many trail shoes.

Is the Salomon Genesis wide or narrow?

It comes in regular width. Shoppers who need a wide fit should look at other Salomon trail models or size up with caution.
