Is the Carbon X set worth it?
At $323.99 at Distritech as of October 31, 2026, you get three matching spinner cases, which is usually less than buying a carry-on and two checked bags separately. It is a reasonable buy if you need all three sizes.
How does it compare with Samsonite's other hard-side sets?
Carbon X uses a boxy shell with dual spinner wheels and expanding compartments, similar to Samsonite's other hard-side lines. Differences come down to shell material and warranty terms, which are not listed here.
Can the carry-on fit in an overhead bin?
The carry-on is sized for overhead bins, but check the exact dimensions against your airline's limit, especially if you pack it expanded.
