Is the Samsung 45W adapter worth it at $12.99?

Yes, if you have a Samsung phone that supports 45W charging. That price is far below typical retail for this charger, and the 5A cable is included.

Will it fast charge a Galaxy S24 Ultra?

Yes. The S24 Ultra supports Super Fast Charging 2.0 at 45W, and this adapter plus the included 5A cable reaches that rate.

Can it charge a laptop?

It can, but only at up to 45W over USB-C PD. That is enough for light use on many ultrabooks but slower than their bundled chargers.

What plug does it have?

A Euro Type C two-pole plug. In the US or UK you need a plug adapter, and it is not grounded.

The adapter, a 1.8 m USB-C to USB-C 5A cable, and a quick start guide. No wall plug adapter for other regions.

Third-party listings like the $12.99 eBay offer as of November 4, 2026 tend to undercut Samsung's own store. Check the seller's warranty terms before buying.

Our take on the Samsung 45W USB-C Power Adapter

Samsung's 45W USB-C Power Adapter is a single-port wall charger with a 1.8 m USB-C to USB-C 5A cable in the box. It supports Samsung Super Fast Charging 2.0, so it can charge a Galaxy S or Note at up to 45W and also power USB-C laptops at lower wattage. It weighs 115 g and has a Euro-style Type C plug, so it suits European outlets. At $12.99 on eBay as of November 4, 2026, it sits well below what Samsung chargers usually cost new.
