Is the Galaxy A12 still worth buying in 2026?

Only as a cheap basic phone. It handles calls, messaging and light apps, but it is slow and stuck on an old Android version.

How much storage does the 32 GB model really have?

About half is used by the system, so expect roughly 15 GB free. A microSD card fixes this cheaply.

Yes, it supports GSM and CDMA 4G networks, including AT&T and Verizon. Check that the specific model is whitelisted for your carrier.

The A13 and A14 add newer Android, better cameras and more RAM. The A12 is only the better pick at a much lower price.

The phone, a charger, a USB-C cable and a SIM tool. A case and screen protector are not included.

Prices on phones this old mostly drift down. The $48 at Walmart as of November 8, 2026 is already near the bottom of its range.
