Is the Galaxy S25 Ultra worth it at $799.99?

At $799.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, it is a strong buy for anyone who wants a top camera and long update support. That is far below its launch price, so the value is much better than at release.

How is it different from the Galaxy S24 Ultra?

The S25 Ultra adds the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a 50MP ultrawide camera and a lighter titanium body. The battery capacity and charging speed carry over unchanged.

How long does the battery last?

The 5,000mAh battery typically gets most users through a full day of mixed use. Heavy gaming or camera use will drain it faster, and charging is slower than on some rivals.

Does it come with a charger and S Pen?

The S Pen is included and stores inside the phone. No charger is in the box, only a cable, so you need a USB-C charger you already own or buy one.

Is the 256GB model enough storage?

For most people, yes. 8K video and large game installs fill it quickly, so heavy shooters should consider the 512GB version.

When is the price likely to drop further?

Prices on Samsung flagships usually fall around new-model launches and major sales events. Track the price history here to see how $799.99 compares over time.
