Is the Galaxy TriFold worth $4,900?

Only if a 10-inch folding screen is worth a large premium to you. Regular book-style foldables cost a fraction of that and cover most of the same use. Wait for real-world hinge and screen reports before paying this much.

How is it different from the Galaxy Z Fold?

The TriFold folds twice to open a 10-inch screen, while the Z Fold opens to a narrower book-style display. The TriFold also carries 16 GB RAM and a much higher price.

How big and heavy is it?

It weighs 10.9 oz, roughly half again as much as a typical flagship phone. The 10-inch screen makes it closer to a small tablet when open.

Does it support dual SIM and eSIM?

Yes. It takes a nano SIM and an eSIM, and it is sold unlocked with 5G support.

What comes in the box?

Expect the phone, a USB-C cable and SIM tool. Samsung has shipped recent flagships without a charger, so plan on using your own.

When is the price likely to drop?

First-generation foldables usually fall after the first holiday season and again when a successor is announced. Track the price history before buying at $4,900.

Our take on the Samsung Galaxy TriFold

The Galaxy TriFold is Samsung's first tri-folding phone: a 10-inch 120Hz OLED screen that folds twice into a pocketable shape. It runs Android with 16 GB RAM, 512 GB storage, a triple rear camera with 8K video, and 5G on nano SIM and eSIM. At $4,900 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a first-generation flagship priced far above any regular foldable.
