Questions and answers

Does it really remove fluoride?
Santevia claims the MINA filter removes over 99.9% of fluoride, along with chlorine, lead and PFOS/PFOA, based on independent lab testing. Results depend on replacing the filter on schedule.
How often do I replace the filter?
The MINA fluoride removal filter is rated for about 80 gallons, roughly a few months for a typical household. The mineral stones are reused and not replaced each time.
Is it electric or plumbed in?
Neither. It is a gravity-fed countertop system, so you fill the upper tank by hand and no power or plumbing is needed.
What's in the box?
The box includes the glass reservoir, bamboo stand and lid, BPA/BPS-free upper tank, MINA fluoride filter and mineral stones.
Is $319.99 a good price?
It is the best new price among the 3 stores listing it as of November 6, 2026. Santevia systems rarely discount deeply, so waiting for a big drop is unlikely to pay off.
Is the glass safe around kids?
The dispensers have a child safety lock, but the glass reservoir is breakable, so place it out of reach of young children.
Where is the Santevia cheapest?
